The Bedford Public Library System (Bedford, VA) is seeking a part-time
technician with skills in troubleshooting software and hardware
problems on personal computers throughout the library system.
Installs, maintains, and performs repairs on computers, printers, and
all peripheral equipment.  Assists vendors in maintenance and support
of wide area network equipment and automation system equipment.
Evaluates and makes recommendations for improvements.  Works with
public, staff, and vendors in a positive and responsive manner.

Minimal education requirement is an Associate’s degree in computer
science or equivalent education/experience with computers. Must have
knowledge of Windows Server 2003 & 2008, Windows Domain Controller and
local area networks. Preference will be given to applicants who have
demonstrated experience with library automation software and terminal
server deployment.   20 hours per week with flexibility.  Application
