Library Technical Systems Coordinator 
Krannert Memorial Library 
University of Indianapolis 
The Krannert Memorial Library at the University of Indianapolis is accepting applications for a Library Technical Systems Coordinator. This is a full-time, exempt staff position. 


Responsibilities: Initiate, maintain, and support all digital systems for the Krannert Memorial Library. Maintain working relationships with library consortia and participate in decision-making for technology system purchases, changes, and upgrades. 


Qualifications: ALA-accredited degree (MLS, MLIS, etc.), or Bachelor’s degree and five years related experience with library systems. Two years of experience in academic library and previous experience in management or maintenance of integrated library system (Ex Libris Aleph preferred). Understanding of library metadata standards (MARC21, AACR2, RDA, etc.); successful participation in Web and systems projects; knowledge of library Web design and scripting languages; experience with Linux or related server environments; broad vision of a modern academic library’s role online; and interest in new technologies and trends. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively. Experience with Ex Libris Aleph, PRIMO or other discovery layer, ILLiad, SFX or other link resolver, EZ Proxy, and Content DM preferred.
