The International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) in Washington DC seeks to recruit a Technical Writer into its HarvestChoice team in the Environment and Production Technology Division. This is a one-year, exempt, renewable appointment depending on performance and funding based at IFPRI headquarters in Washington, D.C. HarvestChoice is mandated to generate, disseminate and enhance the capacity to utilize strategic information on investment options for raising smallholder productivity and market participation in sub-Saharan Africa. HarvestChoice is jointly implemented with the Center for International Science and Technology Policy and Practice (InSTePP) at the University of Minnesota, and cross-team collaboration in achieving the goals of HarvestChoice is an important source of synergy and innovation in the initiative. The Technical Writer will work under the day-to-day supervision of IFPRI HarvestChoice team leader.
