Technology Plans

Hello everybody,

Thank you for your replies to my post on library mobile apps, it was a very interesting discussion!

I'm now wondering about your experiences with technology plans. Basically, does your library have a technology plan, and if so, do you ever refer to it? Interestingly enough, the library where I am employed has a technology plan but for the 4 years I worked there I never knew about it! I only found it by accident because I had to write a technology plan for a MLS assignment (I found it on Google). I was wondering if others were in this situation also or does your library actively refer to its technology plan?
