More libraries are utilizing patron driven acquisition (PDA) and vendors
are offering creative business models to complement traditional
purchasing approaches, posing new opportunities/challenges for
acquisitions. This pre-conference, led by experienced professionals,
will guide attendees through the different models, expose them to real
life programs at libraries of varying sizes, offer strategies for the
set-up and on-going management, as well as point out common technical
services issues.
