The Contest Deadline for the ACRL President’s Program Innovation Contest has been extended! The new deadline is Monday, May 9, 2011, 11:59pm EST.

The ACRL President’s Program at the 2011 ALA Annual Conference<http://www.alaannual.org/> in New Orleans is titled “From Idea to Innovation to Implementation: How Teams Make it Happen.” The program will feature Jason Young, author of the book Culturetopia<http://www.culturetopia.com/>: The Ultimate High-Performance Workplace<http://www.culturetopia.com/> and an expert on how workplace teamscan obtain maximum productivity.
In conjunction with the program, ACRL is currently accepting entries for a contest featuring exciting library innovation projects. Submit a short essay that describes an innovative library enhancement project that is currently in progress or has already been implemented. Programs or services can involve a new technology, a public outreach program or a new assessment initiative.
