Howdy,

I am writing a position paper on Libraries and Information Security and
would appreciate some feedback.

Does your library use https for the OPAC patron record interface?

for example:  *https*://library.uri.edu/patroninfo<https://library.uri.edu/patroninfo>

Do you have a purge / wipe policy and schedule for patrons records that you
could share?

Does your OPAC vendor clearly demonstrate library appropriate security
measures for patron records?

>From a patron privacy standpoint, I personally think that the  entire search
interface to an OPAC should be https.
