[Web4lib] iPad recovery

The problem with the "Find my iPad" app is that all someone has to do is wipe the iPad, and it's no longer trackable, since it's software-based, not hardware. Of course, if all one is worried about is what's on the iPad, I guess it might be a good idea, but it's not really helpful in terms of recovering the device.

However, there is a concern about theft recovery, and the LowJack for Laptops product by Computrace looks like it is only for PCs and the MacBook. The only thing I have come across is http://www.apple.com/mobileme/features/find-my-iphone.html which looks more like a helpful tool for finding a misplaced iPad but not a recovery tool for a stolen iPad. Does anyone have any better suggestions?
