I recommend the free tutorials and videos on http://www.gcflearnfree.org to patrons and staff who need basic computer assistance.
Besides computer and Internet lessons, they also offer tutorials on job searches, everyday life (banking, reading food labels, etc.), job development (reading maps, using public transportation, tax documents, etc.), math basics, personal finance, and reading skills (perfect for ESL learners).  All tutorials are also offered in Spanish.

WebJunction has begun collecting training material created by public libraries that cover many of the technology aspects you mention:

I have a request from a library for the following:

"What I need now is some help with a curriculum or handouts for the
classes. Can you point me in the direction of some good materials. We
want to start with the basics, beginning computer, beginning internet,
email, etc."

Do you have any good sites or material that you could forward to me?
Thanks in advance.
