This technique works well for finding passwords on Asian, Eastern
European and Latin American sites. There is a more brute force approach
that is required for Arabic sites. That is because many Arabic sites use
URL shorteners to hide the proxy URL. 
A search of the list archive will turn up the method that we use at
Chapman.

As some journal publishers know all too well, there are dozens of such
sites on the Internet. Try searching Google for the address of your
library's proxy server in quotes and then go out to the end of the
results. When we did that last year, we found that most of the listed
logins were old and no longer worked, but we did disable a few current
accounts.
