The University of Arkansas at Little Rock Ottenheimer Library seeks
qualified applicants to fill the Director of Technical Services and
Technology position (R99690-01).

The Director of Technical Services and Technology is a faculty appointment
with rank leading to tenure and will be required to meet the Library’s
criteria for promotion and tenure, which include librarianship, service and
scholarship/research. The position reports directly to the Dean of the
Library and works closely with the Directors of Public Services and
Administrative Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for
providing administrative oversight of technical services and information
technology departments (acquisitions, cataloging, collection development,
serials and IT).

Minimum requirements: ALA-accredited MLS required, progressively responsible
supervisory experience of both librarians and paraprofessionals in an
academic library and at least five years of recent experience in
acquisitions, cataloging, serials or systems. For full position description
