Electronic Services Librarian - IRC37007
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) seeks an Electronic Services
Librarian to manage the Hunt Library web presence and administer
e-resources. Duties include administration of the Hunt Library website
in support of the Daytona Beach and Worldwide programs, organization and
provision of the library's e-resources, and the coordination of special
projects such as instructional videos and usability studies. Duties also
include assisting Hunt Library staff with basic technical problems and
developing content. This position reports to the Associate Director for
Electronic Library Services.
Hunt Library, located at the Daytona Beach campus of Embry-Riddle
Aeronautical University, provides library services to 5,000 residential
students at this campus as well as to over 10,000 distance learning
students through Embry-Riddle Worldwide. A leader in the provision of
higher education in the fields of aviation and aerospace, ERAU offers
regionally accredited bachelors' and masters' degrees as well as two
doctoral programs, one of which (aviation science) is the first of its

Required Qualifications:
- ALA-accredited master's degree
- demonstrated proficiency with HTML/XHTML/CSS and website development
- working knowledge of link resolvers and authentication methods
- ability to work and learn independently
- aptitude to keep abreast of new technologies
- excellent communication skills
- effective problem-solving abilities
- project management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- experience with Adobe web development software
- working knowledge of Windows platforms and applications
- experience with Serials Solutions
- expertise with relational databases and ColdFusion (or equivalent)
- experience with an ILS, Ex Libris Voyager preferred
