Kiosk browsers

We changed all our OPACs from WindowsXP/Stead State to Debian Linux/Opera
web browser in kiosk mode. It has been working well over the past 6 months
or so. They auto start into a limited account with a full screen browser
and all the history is wiped with a startup script. The firestarter
firewall provides whitelist/blacklist functionality. The real time
saver with this setup was creating a clonezilla image of one finished OPAC
and flashing to all of the others. After the first, each OPAC only took
10-15 minutes to image, additional config can then be done from the admin
profile to add remove whitelist/blacklist sites as needed. If they are
ever corrupted for any reason a fresh install can be quickly imaged.
I can dig up some more details if anyone is interested.
