[Web4lib] web design comedies or tragedies?

I’m creating an online course related to web design.  I’m looking for some brief, perhaps funny, perhaps tragic anecdotes.  Do you have any stories about a website project gone bad because of not enough planning?  Too much planning?  Things over processed or made too complex?  How about success stories where the under-resourced pulled it together to create something great?  Or good enough?  Please email me off-list if you have a story or two you're willing to tell on anything related.  I’m happy to compile any responses for interested parties on request.  Thanks in advance!
