Dear Colleagues,
>In world where ebooks are dominant, publishers and booksellers,
disappear and ebooks are virtually a one-company monopoly, things change.
Publishing becoming a "one-company monopoly" seems less likely with
ebooks than print books because ebooks are more cheaply created and
easily distributed than print books. I think Amazon's domination of the
market is a temporary transition. As the technology develops and people
learn the technology, I think the most likely scenario is that
eventually everyone and their dog will be able to write ebooks and
distribute/sell them worldwide.
