[Web4lib] Basic Facebook Questions...Static FBML & Links

I'm charged with setting up our Facebook page and I'm running into some problems. If everyone and their grandpa has a page, can't figure out why I find this so difficult.

When I created the page, I chose "brand, product, or organization" and then "government." I also tried creating as a "local business" and then "library/public building," but not sure which one is correct. What do most libraries choose? I ask because I can't seem to get static FBML, etc. to work and figure it must be the way I set the page up. For example, with static FBML, I wanted to add to my page, but the only option I get when I got to add the application is to add as a favorite. No option to add it to my page.

I'm also confused by the Links box. When I click on the tab, no option to add links, just a blank page.

Thanks in advance. I feel like these are probably really dumb questions, but after creating/deleting several pages, not sure what I am doing wrong in the initial setup.
