Generally, I don't see anything wrong with posting links to blog entries, provided the blog entry in question is relevant to the list. It's no different than posting links to interesting newspaper or journal articles. And posting links to interesting items can jump start discussions on the list. I know I've posted quite a few links over the years that wound up generating interesting discussions.
Having said that, I don't understand the motivation of people who feel obligated to regularly post their blog entries to multiple lists.
