[Web4lib] JavaScript mystery

Hi,

I was running IE6 on Windows XP. Javascript would not work although active scripting is enabled. I upgraded to IE8 and Javascript still does not work. I set the security level to low and included a Web address in the trusted list but Javascript does not work on this site or any site. I turned off the firewall and turned off my anti virus software without any change.

I installed Opera and Mozilla. Both run Javascript. This resolves the problem.

Although, the problem is easily circumvented by using another browser, I am very intrigued and would dearly love to know what is going on.

I know the truth is out there.
