[Web4lib] ISO recommendations for video workstation configuration

Thanks. I think we'll end up with at least one Mac eventually, but since we're a PC campus, there is still a lot of feeling that we should initially implement a more robust PC-based video workstation.

If we went with Premiere for editing, is there a compatible and excellent PC-based burning software anyone can recommend?

Really appreciate your comments,

Well, since the original spec, so to speak, was a pc, I'd recommend
Premier at least for the editing. Also, you'll need a 1394/Firewire
card to transfer the video from your camera to the computer.

I'd personally prefer the Mac arrangement but recently I've been working
on a couple of projects using Premier for the first time in years, and
like an old love, I find I prefer it over FinalCut Pro.
