[Web4lib] COPPA in Libraries

How do some of you U.S. based libraries deal with the transmission of data via online mechanisms in order to comply with COPPA (Children Online Privacy Protection Act) regulations?  It seems like quite a broad regulation that could even mitigate in to online "help chat" applications, "Contact a Librarian", or what originally made me look in to the information - registration forms for events and/or volunteering hours.
