As many libraries have recently added, or will soon add, Springer e-book
collections, I was wondering how this resources is being added to existing
library websites. My library is adding the Springer collection next
month, and we are thinking about how to make this resource visible to our
users.

We are planning to add MARC records for Springer e-books to the online
catalog. We will also to add links to Springer e-books to our online
subject guides. We will also feature the collection in the "New and
Featured" section or our website. We are trying to determine if there are
other areas of our site where we could link to e-books that would be
appropriate and helpful.

I am interested in hearing form those at libraries that have a link to an
e-books page from the library's homepage. Did you encounter any
unexpected public service issues with the e-books page? Do you plan to
keep the e-books page in future site re-designs? I'd also like to hear
about any other method of making e-book collections more accessible to
users.

Thanks,

Stacey
