That's nice. But Dennis, when I add today's date, "April 29" into the
holidayarray it returns a page which reads undefined and then today's
date. This is what I stripped it down to:
http://www.atlanticlibrary.org/jk/concepts/lib_hours.asp without the
aforementioned change to the holidayarray. Did I strip too much? Thanks
for sharing.

I got a bit of JavaScript from someone on this list some time back, and
it works well for us.
Try http://libcat.uafortsmith.edu/
<cid:part1.07070207.02010207 at uafortsmith.edu> and check the source code
for the section in the "toplogo" called "data and open status script".
(toplogo is the standard header on all our catalog pages.)

We need to update the holidays annually, of course, and since we are an
academic library that changes hours sometimes, we have alternative
versions of the header with the variations to this script already set --
we just swap them out for the duration, and then swap back the standard
one.

Feel free to grab it -- I grabbed it from elsewhere.

I hope this helps!

Hello,

I would like to display "Today's Open Hours" on our library home page in
an automatic fashion. Currently our hours are available in a google
calendar
(http://www.poly.edu/library/services/hours.php) and I was thinking I
could set up a feed to the home page with just today's hours, but I'm
not sure how.

Does anyone have experience doing this kind of thing with Google
calendars?
Or could you recommend another solution? I'm not much of a coder.

Thanks for your help,

Ingrid
