The 2008 ACRL/NY Annual Symposium "The 21st Century Library: Targeting the Trends" highlights innovations that transform libraries and engage users.
ACRL/NY invites you to submit a poster session proposal for the Symposium that addresses any issue related to this theme. Topics of discussion at the Symposium will include gaming, going green, and next generation catalogs, but any topic related to new roles for academic libraries or innovations in library operations, programs, services, or administration would be appropriate to present.
Please email a 100-200 word description of your poster session proposal to Kris Wycisk at kwycisk at mercy.edu<javascript:main.compose('new','t=kwycisk at mercy.edu')> by October 15, 2008. Include author name(s), email and telephone contact numbers, and the title of the poster session. Both traditional posters and electronic posters will be considered, and presenters will receive a reduced Symposium registration rate. Please check the Posters area on the Symposium website for further details @ http://acrlnysymp2008.wordpress.com/
The Symposium will take place in New York City at Baruch College on Friday, December 5, 2008.
