Not sure if Timebridge would meet your needs... It's more for scheduling
meetings, but it is possible to share availability, or have one login to a
calendar.

We're just running through the same choreography and came up with using
Outlook and OWA. We were looking for a calendar system with these
requiements:
Only one calendar
Easy to use
access from anywhere
ability to share with others and control access event coding print schedule
people and events in a versatile view create reports, search and sort Long
term coverage (at least 24 months)
We looked at a lot of programs, using
http://employee-scheduling-software-review.toptenreviews.com/ to get an idea
of the possibilities.
Then we stuck with Outlook.

Subject: [Web4lib] Non-google online calendar systems?
Hi all,
We have been using Google Calendar to set up our reference desk schedule and
most people here have no complaints. However, the librarians in charge of
our "Information Desk" schedule (think reference desk staffed by student
assistants) apparently find Google Calendar difficult to use and want to use
something else that's "easier".
Does anybody have any suggestions? A search for "Free online calendar" came
up with plenty of results, almost all of which were using a similar
interface to google calendar or looked like they were left-overs from the
early 1990s. If anybody knows of downloadable software which is good for
this (and isn't excel), I would love to hear about that as well.
Thanks,
Stewart Baker
