Montana State University-Bozeman seeks Library Systems Administrator and
Programmer, Salary minimum $41K, depends on experience, full-time
professional. Available: July 1, 2008. 

 

Required: Bachelor's degree; experience administering client/server
database applications; familiarity with library computing environments;
experience with Linux or Solaris; demonstrated troubleshooting skills;
experience with TCP/IP networks; experience with relational, flat, and
tagged data structures; experience implementing/customizing/writing code
with PERL, PHP, and HTML in a LAMP environment; aptitude to learn new
coding languages/environments.

 

Preferred: Masters Degree in Library Science (MLS or equivalent);
experience managing SIRSI or another ILS; experience working in library
systems; experience with APIs; experience with other UNIXs;

experience administering MS WIN Server; coding experience with JAVA.
