I personally use Debian because

-it is actually simple. VERY simple.
-It is friendly -no really it is! :-)

FWIW and assuming you have time I would say set up a WebServer on all  
of these and determine which one makes the most sense. (they are all  
free afterall :-))

Also Ubuntu is derived from Debian and will feel like distant  
relatives when administering them.

As with any Operating System stay current
