Marvelous Pilot Melvyl: New Family History & Genealogy Goldmine?

My interest was captured when recently uploading
the page on Melvyl System - University of California:
Worldwide Genealogy and Family History Research
http://www.academic-genealogy.com/melvyluniversityofcaliforniagenealogyfamilyhistory.htm

Melvyl Pilot is one of today's modern miracles
in the electronic media, (of which I have done
only a preliminary evaluation and overview),
using indirectly, this scholarly evidence source
for doing family history and genealogy from home.

Is it preposterous, possible, or does it need
to be proved, that by going through the Melyvl
Pilot back door, researchers do stay Informed,
knowledgeable in occupational genealogical
research, as well as having a new worldwide
resource in teaching family history classes
and consultant training?  In the future, will
this rear window methodology of planning
and preparing for successful research, let
the ordinary person, as well as scholar,
obtain more from Google, by using added
searching with Google?

Research Library Systems has a brief analysis,
suggesting how to get the most out of WorldCat:
local connection to University of California Libraries,
as the catalog relates to family history / genealogy.
Effective record linkage that uses new technologies,
allows citing sources and the creation of professional
data files.  It calls and instinctively directs newbies
to make their papers well organized.  Layers of on-line
searches help in advanced and expert analysis.

Becoming a genealogist and family historian
is now university directed, in combined
computer, technology and Internet resources,
presented in study guide record search overview.

Briefly returning to Melvly Pilot, I note:
WorldCat: (dated 25 July 2008)
. . .
Search results for 'genealog*' > 'Internet Resource'
    limited to Libraries Worldwide (WorldCat)
    Results of about 25,692
CURRENT: Results for 'genealog*' > 'Internet Resource'

University of California Libraries: (dated 25 July 2008)
. . .
Search results for ''genealog*' > 'Internet Resource'
limited to University of California Libraries
    Results of about 22,043
FIND CURRENT: WorldCat: University of California Libraries

This statistic shows (WorldCat) Results of about 25,692
items compares with University of California Libraries
Results of about 22,043 for 'Internet Resource' records.
Anyone having ongoing computer access to University
of California Libraries does indeed have a genealogy
and family history Golden California State Goldmine.
