Hi Dan,

I wasn't sure a reply to the whole list would be appropriate, but at least
I'll keep it short and end the saga here.

Yes, TransPacific Hawaii College is closing in March 09, and we are
currently hiring for a new librarian as I will be moving to Kyoto Japan for
one year in September. I am a recent graduate of UH, and also do some work
for them as well, which explains the email address.

Essentially, yes, we won't be making any huge moves to upload all our
inventory to an ILS just for 6 more months of classes, but I've been keeping
track of all of the possible solutions mentioned on this list and to me
privately for future use. I've been so impressed with the support,
knowledge and helpfulness of everyone here, so thank you very much to you
all! There has been a great variety of interesting solutions proposed for
our small system and I think that says a lot about the innovative character
of librarians and IT specialists. I'm very optimistic about the "future of
libraries" in other words :)

Thanks again to you all and aloha!

Caitlin
