[Web4lib] RE: Copyright notices Database lists

Thank you for your examples. 

I have a question for everyone about the Lexis/Nexis example that
requires copyright info at the point of login. Why wouldn't a vendor
make this page themselves. If everyone needs to comply with copyright
laws, shouldn't the vendors display this warning?

/I am trying to get out of having to make a bunch of these types of
pages.

We post them on the intro page for our database list:
http://www.library.gatech.edu/search/databases.php and 
our eJournal list http://sfx.galib.uga.edu/sfx_git1/azlist/sfx_git1

(Look for the "Policy for Use of Online Info" links.)

We also have a couple of vendors who require notices to be posted
specifically at the point of login for their dbs, which we also do.  The
user clicks on the db from our list, then is taken to the db-specific
notice before authenticating (see
http://www.library.gatech.edu/gtonly/policy_serialset.php for example).

Hi,

I looked in the archives for this list-serve and couldn't find what I
was looking for.

I am instructed to put copyright notices on our Electronic Database list
and I was wondering how other schools go about doing this. Do you put
notices under each database entry, at the top of every page and/or on
the intro page?

If you could please send examples, I would appreciate it.
