A good starting point might be Planet PHP.

If you are not familiar with "Planets", they are aggregators of blog
content. Basically, they work by constructing a core list of relevant
blogs (on whatever topic) and then, whenever there's a post in any of
the blogs, the planet mirrors that post.

The blogroll can be mined for blogs to track or you can just track the
planet itself.
