Dear Colleagues
We would like to inform you for the availability of the online submission
system for the FIRST WORLD SUMMIT ON THE KNOWLEDGE SOCIETY. It is open for
submissions in the following address:

The deadline for articles submission is: 10th of May, 2008

In our summit there are 5 main tracks:

It would be a great pleasure to have your research presented in our summit,
and with your support to craft sound conclusions and propositions for the
Knowledge Society, for the benefit of our World.

For the conclusions of the FIRST WORLD SUMMIT ON THE KNOWLEDGE SOCIETY, we
have arranged for a number of publication outlets:

1. The conference proceedings will be published in two volumes of
Springer’s  LECTURE NOTES ON COMPUTER SCIENCE,

2. All the accepted and presented papers will be invited for publication
[extended versions and peer reviewed] in one of the 15 sponsoring
International Journals of the summit. More info:

3. The best articles of the five main tracks will be invited for
publication in one of the 5 special issues we have arranged in
International Journals listed in ISI SCI/SSCI, Τhomson Scientific with
impact factors ranging from 0.4 to 1.2 .


The types of articles that will be considered in the Summit include:

- Full Research Paper [6-10 pages]
- Research in Progress [4-6 pages]
- Position Papers [5-10pages]
- Case studies [3-6 pages]
- Literature Review Papers [maximum 6 pages]
- Critique of Clusters of Knowledge Society projects [5-8pages]
- Vision papers [maximum 8 pages]
