Digital Collections Program Coordinator – 2 year term appointment, with 
possibility of renewal

Position Summary

The Digital Collections Program Coordinator provides leadership, 
coordination, and project management for the library’s digital 
collections program, which involves work by staff in multiple 
departments to select materials for digitization and to create, 
maintain, publish, and preserve digital materials. This position reports 
directly to Associate University Librarian for Collections.

EDUCATION:
Required: ALA-accredited Master’s degree in Library or Information 
Sciences or an advanced degree in a closely allied discipline.

EXPERIENCE:
Required: Experience with digitization projects/initiatives; 
demonstrated strategic planning and project management skills; knowledge 
of current digital library technologies, standards, and best practices; 
experience with a variety of metadata and associated functional 
standards; knowledge of interfaces for online resources; familiarity 
with copyright, intellectual access and digital rights management issues

Salary and Benefits
Salary dependent on qualifications and experience. This appointment is 
for 24 months. Comprehensive benefits package.
