[Web4lib] Amazon's Kindle e-book reader

  There's an item in today's NY Times that discusses the upcoming release of Amazon's "Kindle" e-book reader. There's also a mention of plans for Google to begin selling access to some materials via its Google Book Search Partners program (i.e., not the library program). Sounds like you could pay to get more than "snippets" online, with revenue apparently being shared with publishers:
