[Web4lib] Seeking Advice: Switching Career Paths

This is an interesting thread.  I came to the conclusion at one point in
my career that some library managers think web design is simply not a
librarian job, whereas to me it seems like a natural: librarians create
structures to provide information, and web design is simply one
expression of that.  I hope over time this perception will fade and
technology help to invigorate our profession.
