I have read about free video software but have not yet tried it.

Here is the short list I found in "Video for Everyman" by Christopher
Lawton in the Wall Street Journal (9/26/2007):

  Yahoo - JumpCut
Adobe - Premiere (available via sites like YouTube and Photobucket)

JumpCut, in particular, got a rave comment in that article.

Does anyone have recommendations for video editing software that is
easy to
use, and possibly inexpensive/free.

Thank you
