Statistical Software Consultant

Summary:
This position provides consultation services on the use of
university-licensed statistical packages (e.g., SPSS, SAS, LISREL, AMOS,
NVIVO) and research datasets (e.g., CRSP, COMPUSTAT, ICPSR) for any KSU
student, faculty or staff. Additionally the incumbent tests and
evaluates new software, maintains statistical software licenses, and
coordinates software distribution.
Requirements:
Experience doing data analysis and statistical software programming
(especially SPSS, SAS; some familiarity with packages such as BMDP,
LISREL, EQS, AMOS, NVIVO).
Awareness of Institutional Review Board mandated policies and
procedures, privacy and confidentiality.
Bachelor's degree in a field utilizing statistical software as a
research evaluation and measurement tool preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Desired Start Date: January 2008
The position is a full-time, 12-month administrative contract position
