[Web4lib] learning ASP

I agree with Araby on both 4 Guys and on moving to .NET -- as soon as I
learned it I never looked back, and want/am in the process of upgrading
our ASP apps up as time allows.

Bookwise, Wrox has several Classic ASP books that are cool. _Beginning
Active Server Pages 3.0_ might be a good place to start, though I found
their ASP 2.0 books better. Regarding .NET books I've found
publications by APress to be excellent, though I don't know what they're
published re: Classic ASP. You may also have to hit the used or online
retailers for ASP books, since they've been squeezed out by .NET in a lot
of bookstores.

Anything by Scott Mitchell, of the 4 Guys from Rolla web site
(http://www.4guysfromrolla.com/).

It would be advantageous if your library could move towards ASP.Net for
new applications. ASP still works, but it is more difficult to learn,
maintain and secure than ASP.Net.
