sectors on the floppy disk not lining up.

It's really too bad the SuperDisk standard never really took off and the drives are no longer available new. Those darn things can read almost anything and there sure were faster!
I still hold onto one at work and a personal one at home. Saved many a file over their 8-9 years of service. If you can find one in good working order from a second-hand or remainder store, it might be worth it to save a valued file now and then.
It's funny, though, the only LS-120 diskette I ever owned was the one that came with my personal drive. Never even used it. I only got the drive because my Mac didn't have a floppy drive and I thought, what the hey, I still have to read all those old floppies I have...
