To audit your network traffic I would look at OpenNMS. I am  
recommending it mostly because I have set it up and used it.  
Depending on what hardware is on your network they may already have  
bundled something in there for you.

If you want to react aggressively to the computers that could be  
sending outbound traffic and I agree with Jonathan here, consider a  
Network IDS. Here also I recommend Snort because I have set it up. :-)
