Hello All,
Please forgive cross posting. This is a reminder about the Information Commons Discussion Group meeting to be held at the ALA Midwinter meeting on Saturday, 12 January, at 10:30 in Pennsylvania Convention Center, 103 B.
The first part of the meeting will be a quick report from discussion group participants who attended the International Conference on Information Commons in Hong Kong. If you attended the conference, please participate in this discussion, as many of us were unable to attend. The second part of the discussion will revolve around an article published by Bryan Sinclair titled "Commons 2.0: Library Spaces Designed for Collaborative Learning" published in Educause Quarterly, n. 4, pp. 4-6. During this portion of the meeting we would like to discuss strategies and issues to help our Commons' become relevant to the academic community.
We hope to see you there. If you have any questions, please let me know.
Michael
