We are looking into the possibilities of doing Internet filtering on a
proxy server (Squid or otherwise) running on a Linux OS. The important
piece of the puzzle is that we want it to work with a Windows 2003
Active Directory so we can put the computers into different groups so
they can be managed in separate profiles. Does anybody have any
recommendations as for what does and does not work in this environment?
