I didn't see this aspect of librarianship covered anywhere
in the job description:

My favorite use of Wikipedia and Google by the LC is their LCSH for
"Strap-on Sex." The authorities file reads:

670 __ |a Wikipedia, Aug. 30, 2007 |b (strap-on dildo)
670 __ |a LC database, Aug. 30, 2007 |b (strap-on sex)
670 __ |a Google search, Aug. 30, 2007 |b (strap-on sex; strap-on dildo
sex)

Apparently an LC cataloger put "strap-on sex" into Google and got
results. You can find anything on the internet these days! ;)
