Join a great library system!

The Fort Vancouver Regional Library District is looking for a Technology
Director.   But not just any Technology Director.  We are looking for an
experienced, innovative, flexible, collaborative individual with a positive
and enthusiastic approach to public service.  This person will provide
leadership for the Technology Division and be a part of the FVRL
Administrative Team.  The District offices are located in Vancouver,
Washington in southwest Washington State.  Vancouver is a historic, growing
community within short driving distance to magnificent ocean beaches,
majestic mountains, the Columbia River Gorge and metropolitan Portland,
Oregon.   

This position requires 8 years of increasingly responsible managerial
experience in an information systems environment.  A relevant bachelor's
degree and advanced degree in computer science, public administration or
related field, or equivalent experience, is required.  An ALA accredited
master's degree in library science is preferred.  The salary range begins at
$68,508 and is commensurate with experience.  Excellent employer provided
benefits include full family medical.  Open until filled; applicant review
starts 5/11/2007.
