I should also expand just a little to mention that it's possible to 
use WebDAV and/or FTP to more easily "port" existing HTML content 
from a static website to Plone. We did exactly that with a user's 
manual that was created in three formats (Word, PDF, and HTML) 
that has 100s of screen shots and about 170 printed pages.
