CHARACTERISTICS UNIQUE TO THIS POSITION


This faculty position is in a Faculty Association Unit. A full-time,
100% FTE position as Librarian at San Jose City College. Primary focus
will be in the following areas: reference desk duties, maintenance of
the library web page including selection and organization of electronic
resources, assistance in the maintenance of the library bibliographic
database and oversight of the printed serials collection. Assignment
will begin Fall 2006 semester. The assigned work year is 175 days per
academic year. Assignments and office hours may include evenings and
Saturdays. This is a tenure track position.
