I rolled my own in PHP to protect a form in my personal site. Duck,
duck, goose!:

Next step is to make it quack.
It's hardly strong security--I wouldn't do this if personal or financial
data were involved--but for my purposes, it's worked beautifully. It's
kept me spam-free for weeks.
If any spammers out there are amateur ornithologists, though, I'm in big
trouble.
