The West Bloomfield Township Public Library is seeking a Coordinator of Web
Services.

POSITION:  Coordinator of Web Services
Full-time, 35 hours per week

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Masters degree in library science from an ALA accredited school or
equivalent degree in the field of information technology or computer
science.
2. 2-3 years experience in design, development and maintenance of a large
interactive website.
3. Experience with design principles, applications and scripting languages.
Must have experience with:  HTML, CSS, MySQL, PHP, Perl, JavaScript, XML,
Dreamweaver and Contribute.
4. Experience with Microsoft office productivity software.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Design, development and management of the Library’s website, including
content creation, usability design, evaluation, site improvements and
updates and quality control.
2. Responsible for design and integration of the library online catalog and
other remotely provided services into the website.
3. Researches new technologies for web site enhancement.
4. Chairs the website advisory committee.

SALARY RANGE:
$43,473 - $60,177  Starting point in the range commensurate with relevant
experience.
