[Web4lib] Google Allows Downloads of out-of-copyright Books

Umm... am I alone in thinking that scanning of this sort of information 
is not all that far removed conceptually from putting circulation 
records out on the web?  I realize that the card is in the book, but 
still, do we *need* to scan it and make it available in this fashion?
