[Web4lib] Self-pickup of holds

This may have been mentioned before in the listserv,
but I can't find it anywhere.

When addressing concerns of privacy for our users, one
of the issues that comes up is the use of translucent
normal 8 1/2 x 11 paper for wrapping items.

It is felt that for larger or thicker books that this
is inadequate to protect a user's privacy, let alone
that dark wording on a light background, etc., can be
seen through the paper without having to remove the
rubber band (used to hold the paper around the item).

I remember reading somewhere that some libraries use
brown butcher paper for this function.

Anyone have any other examples of different strategies
when it comes to wrapping self-pickup holds?

Thanks,
