There's a pretty neat one called Kartoo that uses Flash.

Subject: [Web4lib] visual display of internet results
Hello all,
My memory tells me that I've linked to internet browsers that provide
results in a visual graphic format by category rather than in by
relevance in a list. I've spent an hour trying to find an example on
the web and have struck out. I've also looked through the web4lib
archive. Any suggestions? I suspect it was from this list that I got
my lead in the first place.
Thanks,
Tawnya Plumb
